Queen of Wands Healing

Kelly, of Queen of Wands Healing, is currently in her 23rd year of being a high school English teacher. She has worked with thousands of students all at different skill levels and individual needs. Kelly holds an Education Leadership degree, an M.Ed. in English Education, a B.A. in English, and a minor in Psychology. Her favorite classes to teach are the writing and research classes because there is always something new to learn and write about.

Kelly is also a certified Tarot reader through Sal Jade’s program and is a certified Akashic Records Master Practitioner, who studied under Josephine Hardman, Ph.D.

When Kelly is not teaching, or doing tarot or Akashic Record readings, she enjoys spending time with her husband and three children, two dogs, and one cat. She enjoys writing, reading, baking, and music of all kinds, but mostly playing and creating her own music. Kelly is a member of two writing groups and created a tarot/oracle group.

Kelly’s Story

Kelly’s spiritual journey officially began in March of 2023 while on a business trip with her husband to New Orleans. Having never been to New Orleans before, something that Kelly had always wanted to do, she wanted to explore the more magical side of New Orleans and booked her first mediumship reading. This reading opened her eyes to the things that cannot be seen and made her a believer in all of the energies that surround us– both the ones we consciously interact with on a daily basis and those energies that are more subtle. It was also on this trip that Kelly bought her first tarot deck that has now grown into owning over 20 tarot and oracle decks.

While Kelly has been consciously aware of her spirituality since 2023, her journey started way before then. As a child, Kelly was always fascinated by tarot and astrology. She would read books about witches and witchcraft, pretend she was a fairy and flew around in her childhood backyard waving a wand under her favorite weeping willow tree. Her favorite movie growing up was The Craft.

Always a creative, Kelly started writing poetry and stories in elementary school, and as an adult spent 13 years writing a full novel of book 1 in her YA series, Evil Eye. While there are three more books in the Evil Eye series that have yet to be written, Kelly discovered that in those 13 years of writing Book 1, that she is her main character who embarks on a spiritual awakening!

In addition, Kelly started her musical journey at the prime age of seven with the guitar, only her small fingers struggled to stretch across the frets. Then at age eight, Kelly decided to try her hand at the piano and stuck with lessons all throughout high school and her freshman year of college. Kelly discovered early on the healing benefits of music after likely using it as a way to cope with anxiety and depression, as her sister constantly yelled at her to “stop playing!” Kelly is currently learning more about binaural beats and the frequencies they create that assist in soul healing.
